The Golden Treasure
"Many believe the golden treasure was touched by King Midas himself. Some stories say the treasure was found inside the trojan horse after the trojan war. One story says the small horse was the favorite toy of King Midas's daughter when she was small and the column was found in his rose garden. Zoe grew up loving horses. Midas asked the great craftsman Daedalus to put the two together so he would always have them and remember, even as his daughter grew too old to play with toys or spend time with her father. Everyone tried to steal the treasure including the maenads, hermes, and even the monster argus with the 100 eyes. They never learned the lesson King Midas did. Midas had to hide it to protect it. It was said to have special powers and the ability to grant wishes and send good luck to the person touching its base."
