Have you seen a cartoon called "Time Squad"? If you missed it, here's a link to a site. They made one episode called "Never look a Trojan in the gift horse".

The vessel on the left is called a black-figured amphora (am-fuhr-uh) which is an ancient two-handled pottery jar used to transport liquids. (Greek, c. 540 B.C. Made in Athens, Greece) . The art you seen on the side is "The greek hero Herakles (Hercules), son of the god Zeus and the mortal woman Alkmene, [he] was portrayed on countless works of art, often in connection with his "Twelve Labors."

This picture of a bronze greek helmet, like the black-figured pottery, is one in a deck of forty-eight Knowledge Cards that "draws on the vast resources of the British Museum to present an illuminating glimpse into the cradle of Western civilization."
