The names of the twelve selected mortals had to be blurred, for now. Click on the pic if you want it larger.
The Golden Treasure Papyrus
Comprising two pages (21 lines)
This post contains the direct translation of the papyri found in Mr. M. Lago's classroom, September 15, 2006. Mr. Lago also made the initial discovery. Translations were accomplished using the semi-accepted Larry-Pip translation table.
The artwork on papyri one is the head of a horse drawn in black charcoal and the edges are a unique gold leaf called 'spray-paint-gold'.
"The following heros and heroines have been selected to represent their class~[listing of the twelve mortals]~These twelve artists and one daedalus mentor will complete the five labors~an olympian feat. I have taken your treasure for myself and hid it away. If the selected have done well in the end you will be rewarded and the golden treasure will be yours again. Have courage and imagination of epic proportions. May Athene and Nike be beside you~the monsters let you pass and the Hippalektryon lead you to clues~Beware of tricks."
